CentralSquare, a leader in public sector software, announced today that
it has signed an agreement with the Allen Police Department for
CentralSquare Public Safety Suite Enterprise which includes Computer
Aided Dispatch, Records Management and Mobile systems. The department’s
purchase represents an upgrade of its existing communication and records
systems.

“We’re honored to welcome Allen PD to the CentralSquare community of
public safety agencies,” said CentralSquare Executive Vice President and
General Manager of Public Safety Steve Seoane. “This partnership
underscores the department’s commitment to enhancing their service to
residents and visitors. Their decision to implement CentralSquare’s
state-of-the-art technology – designed to power faster response, better
connectivity and improved collaboration both within the agency and
across the region – is testament to their leadership in keeping the
public and their officers safe.”

With the Enterprise suite, Allen PD gains a fully integrated system that
offers the fastest multi-agency, multi-discipline and
multi-jurisdictional response among law enforcement, fire and EMS.

As part of a public safety network within the Dallas-Fort
Worth-Arlington, Texas, Metropolitan Statistical Area, Allen joins more
than 75 area agencies who currently rely on CentralSquare public safety
solutions to serve a population of more than 5 million people.

“From the time we pick up a 911 call through writing reports and every
other public safety service we provide, we wanted one seamless system
from start to finish,” said Allen Police Department Deputy Chief Ken
Myers. “In partnering with CentralSquare, we’re working toward critical
departmental goals: increase the speed and accuracy of our reporting,
improve collection of data and make better decisions with analytics and
citizen service tools, ultimately so we can keep officers out in the
community. We look forward to leveraging the system’s flexibility,
automation and citizen portal to make sure we enhance efficiency in all
areas of our department.”

Offering the industry’s most unified CAD, RMS and Mobile system,
CentralSquare improves officer safety and gives them more time in the
community. Tight integration between CAD and RMS cuts reporting time in
half by providing a list of pending reports with prefilled CAD data that
extends to all reporting modules, a feature unique to the industry. CAD
Enterprise, built on an agile platform for interoperable (open API) and
coordinated response, saves critical time for each dispatch: two minutes
with unit swapping, 2-3 minutes with dispatch recommendation and up to
20 seconds with auto-dispatch function. The web-based RMS empowers
agencies with a “enter once, share infinitely” capability in which data
is entered once (or drag-and-dropped for fewer key strokes) and shared
across all systems such as 911, CAD, Mobile and Jail. The completely
reimagined UX in Mobile Enterprise – a result of hundreds of hours of
direct one-on-one audits, field observations and usability studies –
provides configurable templates, visual cues for areas needing attention
and night-mode for clear viewing in dark surroundings, among other
features. With today’s largest cities on a common platform relying on
Enterprise as their mission-critical engine for coordinated police, fire
and EMS dispatch, CentralSquare offers the most compelling software
suite for public safety agencies across North America.
