Following the company’s recent rebrand, Centauri,
a leading provider of high-end engineering, intelligence, cyber security
and advanced technology solutions, today announced that Dennis Kelly Jr.
has been appointed as the company’s new president and chief operating
officer. He will support CEO Dave Dzaran in executing the company’s
strategy and vision.

Dennis Kelly Jr. joins Centauri as the new president and COO with more
than 30 years of experience in the government contracting community.
Dennis has held a number of executive and operational leadership roles,
including CEO, COO, business development, marketing, investor relations
and corporate communications.

At Centauri, Dennis will leverage his experience growing companies both
organically and through M&A opportunities. Having led 12 technology and
defense industry acquisitions throughout his career – and having
supported more than a dozen more – Dennis is uniquely qualified to help
Centauri identify strategic partners to expand out end-to-end
capabilities and successfully integrate them into the organization to
better meet customer mission requirements. He will also work closely
with CEO Dave Dzaran to ensure the company continues its robust organic
expansion.

Dennis will also focus on streamlining Centauri’s talent acquisition
process so that it can maintain its position as one of the most
sought-after workplaces in the industry.

“As Centauri expands, our top priority is to bring talent acquisition to
a new level so we are able to staff our growing number of contracts with
the most qualified individuals to help our government partners achieve
their mission,” said Dave Dzaran, CEO at Centauri. “Dennis’s proven
track record of finding and attracting the industry’s top talent will be
crucial to our company’s success in the national security market.”

In his new role, Dennis has already brought on two new members of the
leadership team:

  • Patricia
    Nunn
, who is serving as Centauri’s senior vice president of
business development. Patricia brings over 25 years of professional
management experience supporting and leading teams in the information
technology, engineering and logistics spaces. She will be responsible
for leading business development strategies that provide full-spectrum
offerings to customers through complete end-to-end solutions.
  • Sandy
    Albers
, who is the new vice president of human resources at
Centauri. She brings more than 30 years of HR experience to her new
role, primarily in high-tech, government and professional consulting
venues in both domestic and international business settings. Sandy has
an extensive history of implementing innovative employee-centric HR
initiatives and will work to ensure employees at Centauri continue to
    thrive.

“Between its passionate team, collaborate culture and innovative
technology and solutions, the choice to join the Centauri team was quite
simple,” said Dennis Kelly Jr., president and COO of Centauri. “I look
forward to supporting our customers’ mission-critical cyber, space,
defense and intelligence missions by bolstering Centauri with even more
talent, resources and capabilities.”

Dennis came to Centauri from Buchanan & Edwards, Inc. where he served as
president and CEO. His other previous roles include serving as CEO of
Virginia-based company IOMAXIS, an internationally recognized tech
company that develops innovative solutions in communications, computing
and cybersecurity, and CEO of PAE, where he was appointed president of
the National Security Solutions business unit after acquisition. Dennis
is an adjunct professor in the George Mason University Executive MBA
program and serves on the board of directors of the USO of Metropolitan
Washington – Baltimore. He is a proud veteran of the US Navy.
