Brillio, a leading digital technology consulting and solutions company, today announced that Robert E. Sell has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. He joins the Brillio board with 34 years of experience at Accenture, where he retired in 2018 as the Group Chief Executive of Accenture’s Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) operating group.
During Sell’s leadership tenure, CMT was the fastest growing operating group at Accenture and by the time of his retirement it had become the second largest and most profitable. The operating group was an $8.1 billion business, employing over 100,000 people and delivering services to clients in over 75 countries. He served in the Group Chief role for over six years and coincidentally served as a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and as a named officer of the corporation.

Sell has served on several boards and is involved in numerous community-based programs and philanthropic activities. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Lafayette College in Easton PA, where he has served as a trustee for 13 years. He also served on the Board of Directors of Vlocity, a software start-up in San Francisco and a Forbes Cloud 100 company. Sell also served on the Executive and Membership Committees of Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ where he enjoys the distinct privilege of being a Founding Member. He also represented Accenture as a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce for several years.
