Bay Area Sports Stars Compete in Celebrity Shootout at Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae

The Korn Ferry Tour and Ellie Mae Classic, sponsored by Ellie Mae® – the leading cloud-based platform provider for the mortgage finance industry – today announced the teams for the upcoming 2019 Ellie Mae Classic Celebrity Shootout Presented by Lucky Supermarkets. The Celebrity Shootout takes place on Monday, July 29 at 4:50 p.m. PDT and kicks off the week-long golf tournament at TPC Stonebrae in Hayward, California.

Proceeding Thursday’s opening round of the Ellie Mae Classic which will feature 156 of the world’s greatest golfers vying for coveted PGA TOUR cards, five teams of celebrities from Bay Area sports franchises will compete in a five-hole shootout with the winning team earning $15,000 for their team’s charitable foundation.

The following teams will participate in the Celebrity Shootout Presented by Lucky Supermarkets:

Oakland Athletics: Ryan Buchter, Josh Phegley, Stephen Piscotty and Lou Trivino

San Francisco 49ers: Dwaine Board, Steve Bono, Ian Williams and Eric Wright

San Francisco Giants: Rich Aurilia, Erik Johnson, Darren Lewis and Randy Winn

San Jose Sharks: Dan Boyle, Jonathan Cheechoo, Owen Nolan and Tom Pederson

Golden State Warriors: Team to be announced at a later date

The teams will be joined by Douglass Hodges, a Special Olympics athlete representing Special Olympics Northern California.

Tickets for the Celebrity Shootout can be purchased at Bay Area Lucky Supermarkets or at the gate for $25. Free tickets to watch regular tournament play (Thursday, August 1 – Sunday, August 4) can be found at elliemaeclassic.com/grounds-tickets/.
