In December 2018, T-Mobile CEO John Legere published his first cookbook, #SlowCookerSunday:
Leadership, Life and Slow Cooking with CEO and Chef, John Legere.
Today, with nearly all hard copies sold out in T-Mobile stores and at
T-Mobile.com, the Un-CEO announced a surprise for his favorite folks.
Tomorrow, on his birthday, he’s giving T-Mobile customers an
extra-special thanking on top of all the other weekly goodies lined up
for T-Mobile Tuesday: free e-copies of #SlowCookerSunday! Talk
about an Un-carrier way to celebrate your special day!
For the entire week of June 4 through June 10, T-Mobile customers can
open the T-Mobile
Tuesdays app (or go online),
tap the #SlowCookerSunday cookbook card to claim the offer and
download a PDF version of the cookbook directly onto their devices.
Voila! They’ll have mouth-watering slow cooker recipes at their
fingertips! (And yes, the PDF file is app- and device-agnostic.)
“It’s my birthday and T-Mobile Tuesday — I can’t think of a better way
to celebrate than thanking the best customers in wireless with free
e-copies of #SlowCookerSunday!” said T-Mobile CEO John Legere.
“This book means a lot to me. It’s not only full of tasty recipes (have
you tried the Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie?!?) but it’s also filled with
lessons I’ve learned over my many years of doing business. I love
sharing it! And by the way – stay tuned for more amazing news to come on
how sales of the book are supporting Feeding America!”
#SlowCookerSunday is packed with 52 hand-picked recipes for
delicious, (mostly) nutritious slow-cooker meals, from a veggie omelet
to tarragon lamb shanks to apple pudding cake, collected from John’s
immensely popular Facebook Live cooking show. It’s also garnished with
professional insights and personal musings from his decades as a
successful entrepreneur and unconventional business leader (only he
could find the connection between spicy beef stew and running America’s
All net proceeds from sales of the hardback version of #SlowCookerSunday
will go to Feeding
America, America’s largest hunger-relief nonprofit. Though
quantities are limited, fans can still purchase a book at select
T-Mobile stores and at T-Mobile.com while supplies last.
