David Benjamin, SVP and GM of EMEA, Box

David Benjamin heads up Box’s EMEA operations as the company looks to expand its presence beyond its native US.

He joined in October 2016, having previously spent a decade at BT, where he was vice president of its Global Services division.

Box has opened several European offices, including in London, and has launched a number of initiatives such as local cloud data storage, in a bid to make its services more attractive to European customers.

Bas Anneveld, CTO, Gumtree UK

Bas Anneveld is responsible for the development and delivery of the Gumtree platform, improving the site for buyers and sellers. He joined Gumtree from parent eBay, where he was CTO for Denmark.

He has also been the Director of eBay Classifieds Site Operations team, managing eBay Classifieds’ global infrastructure based out of Amsterdam.

Roger Ian Dickinson, Technical Solutions Architect, Cisco

Roger is a cloud architect, evangelising Cisco’s cloud and data centre products and providing expertise on anything that underpins any cloud strategy..

A Cisco veteran of 17 years, Roger was accumulated a wealth of experience working with European customers and guiding them through the many industry and technology transitions over the past decade.

Nigel Page, Senior Director & Strategist, HPE Digital Solutions

Nigel Page has more than 25 years’ experience in the technology industry and his focus at HPE is digital transformation.

He also leads HPE’s work with smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 and is even involved with HPE’s own transformation following the split with HP Inc. in 2015.

Nigel is a member of the British Computer Society.

Todd Whaley, Director of Professional Services, Pulsant

Todd Whaley has more than 30 years of experience in IT services and joined Pulsant as part of the acquisition of Spinnaker Red in 2015.

He has founded and sold three IT professional services companies and helps Pulsant advise customers on cloud and hybrid IT.

Clive Longbottom, analyst, Quocirca

Clive has been an IT industry analyst for more than 20 years, having also worked in the chemical and research industries.

He appears regularly in the technology media and at industry events and advises how technology can improve businesses – but is never a solution in its itself.

In 2007 he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Promotion of the Arts, Commerce and Manufacturing (FRSA).
