TechWeek Adds 4G Coverage Map

TechWeek 4G coverage map

Want to know about 4G, 3G and Wi-Fi coverage where you are? We can help!

TechWeekEurope now has an interactive map showing 4G, 3G and Wi-Fi coverage to help you find a signal when you need one.

The map shows 4G signals and operators for any location in the UK and also includes 3G coverage and Wi-Fi hotspots, all based on unbiased information from network information firm Sensorly. The service will be rolled onto all our sister sites in different countries and is already available on our French sites.

With all major UK operators now having a 4G service in place, the priorities are coverage, speed and price. As the first player in the field, EE regularly posts announcements of new sites, and claims to have more than 4 million subscribers.

Meanwhile, Vodafone is adding towns, as is O2, while Three is proud of offering 4G for no extra charge.

The tool was developed in partnership with Sensorly, which also has apps for Android, and iOS if you’d rather check coverage directly on your phone.

You can find the map on our site, tucked away in the menu at the top, under Tools. But if you need a bigger link…

Here is the tool!
