Lenovo has unveiled two new releases powered by Windows 10 – the Yoga 900 laptop and Yoga Home 900 All-in-One desktop PC.

They both offer users a highly portable device that can take several different forms to also act as a tablet or display if needed, thanks to Lenovo’s patented hinge design.

Super slim

Yoga 900Hailed by Lenovo as the world’s thinnest Intel Core i convertible laptop, the Yoga 900 builds on the flexible nature of its predecessor, the Yoga Pro 3, measuring just 14.9mm across and weighing 1.29 kg.

Inside, there’s Intel’s latest 6th gen Core i7 processor and up to 16GB of Samsung SSD memory, all powering a 13.3in QHD+ (3200×1800) IPS Display which comes with a wide viewing angle to ensure that your content remains bright no matter what form the Yoga 900 is in, and also packs JBL stereo speakers and Dolby Audio Premium for a top entertainment experience.

Battery life is around nine hours thanks to a greater battery density than its predecessors, and Lenovo has also improved the cooling system by 30 percent by redesigned the vent structure on the device.

Available in three colours (clementine orange, platinum silver and champagne gold), the Yoga 900 will start from €1,299 when it goes on sale in the second half of October.

Home life

Powered by an Intel 5th Gen Core i7 processor, optional NVIDIA GeForce 940A graphics, Windows 10 and up to three hours of battery life. Along with Windows 10, there is also Lenovo’s improved AURA 3.0 interface, which now comes with enhanced photo facial recognition and editing features.

The YOGA Home 900 will cost from €1,499 when it goes on sale in December.

“From introducing the convertible laptop category three years ago with Yoga, we know people love the flexibility and portability of our multimode design,” said Dilip Bhatia, Lenovo’s vice president of worldwide marketing and user experience for its PC & enterprise business group.

“The new Yoga 900 and Yoga Home 900 are not your traditional PC. We studied real user needs to make them as thin and light as possible for the portability that they need, while upping the PCs’ performance and refining the Yoga’s signature watchband hinge for an even smoother rotation to switch between modes.”
