What smartphone do you use?

My personal device is an iPhone.

What three apps could you not live without?

Apple Music, Photo Shop and Facebook (to keep an eye on the kids!)

What new technology are you most excited for a) your business and b) yourself?

Apple iPhone 7 PlusCurrently my focus is Software Defined Networking (SDN) Although a generic term covering many technologies and Applications, the benefits it will bring to our Service Delivery and Customer interaction are huge.

SDN will be the future for Cloud orchestration. Ultimately it will enable the automated provision of Application services which will sell configure their own Network requirements. It will provide full visibility to end users and customers enabling on the fly service delivery.

From my point of view it ensures safe and predictable configuration of network and Cloud platforms through automation. This makes the whole process less prone to error and reduces the need for many people to deliver a service.

If you weren’t doing the job you do now, what would you be doing?

There really isn’t another job that I would rather do. I have worked in an Industry that has totally revolutionised the way people interact and seen it literally change the world. I can’t help but feel the last 30 years was the prelude and there is so much more to come.
