IFA 2015: Microsoft’s Continuum feature means that you’ll be able to take your work with you wherever you go

Acer has launched a new smartphone that will double as a substitute PC thanks to the power of the cloud.

Described by the company as a ‘PC Phone’, the Acer Jade Primo takes advantage of the Continuum feature included in Microsoft’s mobile version of Windows 10 to let users seamlessly work and play without needing to switch between devices.

The 5.5in device will even ship with a dock, keyboard, and wireless mouse as Acer looks to take mobile working to its maximum.

Asides from being a super-flexible work device, the Jade Primo also features some powerful hardware, supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and there’s also a 21MP rear camera with a dual-LED flash and an 8MP front lens.

There’s no news on official pricing or launch date yet, but we’ll be keen to see how it fares in the real world.
