Create PDF files using Acrobat Distiller

With the Acrobat Distiller configurator, you can easily automate and configure Adobe Acrobat Distiller in a workflow. No need to launch Acrobat Distiller and setup hot folders, all setup happens from within SWITCH. Simply select the Distiller icon and choose which Distiller settings to use.

SWITCH has a configurator for Adobe Photoshop that allows you to run Adobe Photoshop actions on the files in a workflow. This allows you to run any action you can create in Photoshop on the files in your flow.

The Adobe InDesign configurator

All SWITCH products now have support for job folders; that means it now becomes viable to transport, for example, Adobe InDesign jobs in a workflow. SWITCH moves all of the files in the job folder for you.

One of the examples of how to use this is to use the Adobe InDesign configurator to open incoming InDesign jobs and save them as Adobe PDF files. The configurator in this case allows you to select which Distiller settings to use.

Using the configurator you can also run JavaScripts on processed InDesign jobs.
